The Top Stars and Acts Appearing at the HOP TOP Show

The Greek philosopher Plato once wrote that, “Time is the moving image of eternity”. “LaOra”, the HOP TOP SHOW for EQUITANA 2019 stopped time for two hours as leading stars of and newcomers to the equestrian show scene took to the arena with new spectacular, breathtaking performances.
"LaOra" presented inspiring liberty dressage, quadrilles, dazzling acrobatics on horseback, colourful performances with ponies, and classical elements from the worlds of dressage, show-jumping and carriage-driving. The spotlight is always on the deep bond that exists between horse and human and on the subtle communication between the two that solely relies on virtually imperceptible signals.

Guillaume Mauvais

Guillaume Mauvais’ performances with his mighty, earth-shaking Comtois heavy horses impress thanks to their amazing partnership, the horses’ will to work, their harmony and yet also their easy playfulness.

Moments in Black & Dance Industry

What connects the 30 or so members of Austria’s Friesian Show Team is their love of their “black pearls”.

Alma Vaquera

Sisters Isaora and Jezabel Marques from Arles in the South of France whisked us away to the world of Andalusia.

Will Rogers’ Perfomance Horses

Will Rogers is originally from Australia, but now lives in Sassenberg near Warendorf. He has developed off his own method of accustomizing horses to fresh stimuli at an early age by working from the ground and using liberty work.

Anne Krüger-Degener

Anne Krüger-Degener runs a sheep farm and an animal school for working dogs. Over the years the seriousness for the daily work turned into fun on the challenge of really breathtaking tasks.

Lorenzo

A regular and welcome visitor from France, Lorenzo has been a major star in the equestrian show scene for many years now.

NRW Pony Show Team

The NRW Pony Show Team won the KATINA Show Cup at EQUITANA Essen in 2017 with a derring-do jumping quadrille. They also featured in the EQUITANA OPEN AIR Evening Show in 2018.

Team NORKA, the vaulting club from Cologne-Duennwald

The current world champions demonstrated vaulting at the very highest level – a sport that demands perfect teamwork, acrobatics, creativity and elegance.

Lisa Röckener

Living freedom combined with sport and excitement. The Instagram star Lisa puts a lot of emphasis on the varied training with their horses.

Find the easiest way to get to the HOP TOP SHOW on equitana.com.

Which entrances of the exhibition area can I use?

If you have a ticket for one of our evening shows, you can enter the showground at the entrances west, south and east from 6 pm to 7 pm. From 7 pm, the exhibition is closed, and the access to the exhibition area is only possible at the entrance "Mitte" (middle).
